Square One is a space that feels honest, adaptable, and inherently Australian. Inspired by the colours of the Sydney coastline, playing with pops of colour to foster a welcoming and creative atmosphere. Authentic materials such as timber, concrete and textured finishes reinforce a sense of warmth, shifting the workplace away from traditional corporate office towards a more residential environment that promotes comfort, wellbeing, and collaboration. The recurring square motif, inspired by IDEO’s use of post-it notes throughout their design process and thinking, is translated into spatial planning, joinery and graphic elements as a symbol of creativity, ideation and continuous innovation.
